СРОЧНО. Put the verbs in brackets into the Past Simple and make negative (-) and interrogative (?) statements. (Поставьте глаголы в скобках в прошлое простое и сделайте отрицательные (-) и вопросительные (?) утверждения.) 1. I (see) how he went out of the shop last week.
2. My mother (work) in that company.
3. I (start) jogging last year.

  • Past Simple: I saw how he went out of the shop last week.
  • Negative: I did not see how he went out of the shop last week.
  • Interrogative: Did I see how he went out of the shop last week?
  1. My mother (work) in that company.
  • Past Simple: My mother worked in that company.
  • Negative: My mother did not work in that company.
  • Interrogative: Did my mother work in that company?
  1. I (start) jogging last year.
  • Past Simple: I started jogging last year.
  • Negative: I did not start jogging last year.
  • Interrogative: Did I start jogging last year?
  1. The joke was funny but nobody (laugh).
  • Past Simple: The joke was funny, but nobody laughed.
  • Negative: The joke was funny, but nobody laughed. (The sentence is already negative because of "nobody", so no further change is needed.)
  • Interrogative: Did anybody laugh at the joke?
  1. After work she (take) kids home.
  • Past Simple: After work, she took the kids home.
  • Negative: After work, she did not take the kids home.
  • Interrogative: Did she take the kids home after work?
