MY FREE TIME

When I finally finish my homework and household chores, I try to spend my free time in a way that helps me relax and grow as a person. On weekdays I usually have only an hour or two, so I choose simple activities. I like reading short stories or articles online, because they broaden my vocabulary and let me travel in my imagination. If my eyes are tired, I listen to music or podcasts while I stretch or tidy my room. It helps me recharge without wasting time.

At the weekend I have more freedom. On Saturday mornings I go for a long walk in the park or ride my bike with friends. Being outdoors makes me feel energetic and calm. After lunch I often cook something new—pancakes, pasta, or a simple salad. Cooking is creative, and sharing food with my family brings us closer.

In the evening I prefer quiet hobbies. I draw in my sketchbook, learn a few phrases in a foreign language, or practice the guitar. Sometimes we watch a movie together and discuss our favorite scenes. I also try to limit screen time, because I sleep better and feel more focused the next day.

For me, free time is not only about entertainment. It is a chance to learn, to take care of my health, and to spend time with people I love. When I plan it carefully, even a few hours can become the best part of the week.
