Last summer I went abroad with my family.
We travelled by plane, because it was the fastest way to get there.
At first, we wanted to go by bus or by train, but the journey was too long.
We visited a beautiful country near the sea.
Its capital was very old and interesting.
We stayed in a small hotel near the port.
Every morning we walked along the sea and watched the ships.
We had many plans for our holiday.
We wanted to go sightseeing and learn more about the city.
We visited a big museum with many famous paintings and historical things.
Then we saw an old monument in the main square.
In the evening we went to the theatre and watched a wonderful performance.
I had very good impressions of this trip.
The people were friendly, the food was tasty, and the city was very beautiful.
I will always keep great memories of my holiday abroad.
