5. She had a headache because she (work) at the computer for hours.

Use Past Perfect Continuous: had been + verb-ing.

• 1. They were happy. They had been playing games all day.
• 2. I found my keys which I had been looking for since morning.
• 3. They had been driving for 5 hours before they stopped to have lunch.
• 4. Kevin was stressed. He had been trying to solve the crossword all afternoon.
• 5. She had a headache because she had been working at the computer for hours.
