- 2. The Gherkin: It was designed by architect Norman Foster.
- 3. St Paul's Cathedral: It took 35 years to build (1675–1710).
- 4. The Globe theatre: It was an open-air, circular wooden building with a thatched roof and a stage that projected into the yard.
- 5. The London Eye: A giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the Thames.
- 6. Whispering Gallery: It got its name because a whisper against the wall can be heard clearly on the opposite side due to the dome's acoustics.
- 7. Big Ben: The nickname for the Great Bell of the clock at the Palace of Westminster; often used for the clock tower (Elizabeth Tower).
- 8. Wobbly Bridge: The Millennium Bridge.
