One possible way to complete the dialogue:

Patient: Well, I haven't been feeling very well recently. I've had a sore throat and a high temperature.
Doctor: How long has this been going on?
Patient: For about three days.
Doctor: I have to examine you. You've got an infection. I'll prescribe you some antibiotics.
Patient: Will I get better soon?
Doctor: Take the medicine three times a day and it should clear up in a few days.
Patient: OK. Thank you.
Doctor: You should stay in bed and drink plenty of fluids. If you're not feeling better in a week, come see me again.
