PRESENT SIMPLE, PRESENT CONTINUOUS or PAST SIMPLE?

To choose the correct tense, look at the meaning of the sentence.

• Present Simple is used for habits, facts and regular actions: I go to school every day.
• Present Continuous is used for actions happening now or around now: She is doing her homework now.
• Past Simple is used for finished actions in the past: We visited London last year.

Useful time words: always, usually, often usually go with Present Simple; now, at the moment with Present Continuous; yesterday, last week, two days ago with Past Simple.
