Project: My Family's Favourite Dish

My family’s favourite dish is pancakes. We usually cook them at the weekend, when everyone has more free time. Pancakes are simple, tasty and they make our breakfast special.

To make pancakes, we need milk, eggs, flour, sugar, salt and some oil. First, we mix the eggs, milk, flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. Then we add a little oil. After that, we fry the pancakes in a hot pan.

In my family, we eat pancakes with different fillings. My mother likes pancakes with cottage cheese. My father prefers pancakes with meat. I like pancakes with jam or honey.

This dish is special for us because we often cook it together. While one person fries the pancakes, others prepare tea and set the table. It is not only food, but also a family tradition.

I think pancakes are the best family dish because they are delicious and bring us together.
