Pros and cons of pets

Many people like having pets at home. A pet can be a good friend. For example, a dog can play with you and protect the house. A cat can make the home feel warm and comfortable.

Pets also teach children to be responsible. You must feed them, give them water, clean after them and take care of their health.

But there are also some disadvantages. Pets need a lot of time and attention. Sometimes they make noise, break things or leave hair on clothes and furniture. It can also be expensive to buy food and visit a vet.

In my opinion, pets are wonderful, but a person should understand that an animal is not a toy. It is a real responsibility.
