3. Complete the texts with go on, go on a/an or go by. HOLIDAY ADVERTS: what they really mean Do holiday adverts always tell the truth? Not exactly, but the truth is there if you look carefully. Here are a few of our favourites: "Go on a working holiday in Greece. A fantastic opportunity for a cheap holiday." What it means: You work for nothing and even have to pay to work! "Perfect holiday town. You don't need transport. Go on foot to all the sights." What it means: This is a very small town with only one or two sights to visit. "Go on a six-day tour of Europe and see the sights. You go by coach and you don't pay for accommodation." What it means: You spend most of the six days and nights on the coach. "You can now go by fast train from the airport to the city centre in just fifteen minutes or, a cheaper option is to go by bus." What it means: The train is very expensive.
