Pollution of the Earth by Garbage

Nowadays, one of the biggest environmental problems is pollution of the Earth by garbage. Every day people throw away tons of waste, including plastic bags, bottles, paper, food leftovers, and other materials. Much of this rubbish is not recycled and remains in nature for many years.

Garbage pollution has a negative influence on the environment. When people leave waste in forests, rivers, and oceans, it harms animals and plants. Many animals eat plastic or get trapped in it and die. Polluted water becomes dangerous for fish and other living creatures. Garbage also makes cities and villages dirty and unpleasant.

Plastic waste is one of the most serious problems because it decomposes very slowly. Millions of plastic items are thrown away every year, and they can stay in the environment for hundreds of years. Burning garbage is also harmful because it releases dangerous gases into the air and causes air pollution.

People can help solve this problem by changing their habits. We should throw rubbish into special containers, recycle materials, use fewer plastic products, and keep our streets and parks clean. Governments and organizations should also create programs to reduce waste and protect nature.

The Earth is our common home, and everyone is responsible for its future. If people work together and take care of the environment, we can reduce pollution and make our planet cleaner and healthier.
