В Present Simple с местоимениями he, she, it и существительными в единственном числе к глаголу обычно добавляется окончание -s или -es: likes, asks, goes, does. В остальных случаях используется начальная форма глагола: I like, we play, they do, you write.

Глагол study перед окончанием меняется: study → studies, потому что согласная + y меняется на -ies.
