• Past Simple — действие, которое произошло и завершилось в прошлом: came, got, heard, turned off, realized.

• Past Continuous — действие, которое длилось в определенный момент в прошлом: was washing, was listening, was driving.

• Past Perfect — действие, которое произошло раньше другого действия в прошлом: had left, had saved, had taken, had written.
