In my town, people use different types of transport. The most common ones are cars, buses, taxis, bicycles, and walking. Many people use private cars because they are comfortable and convenient, especially for longer distances. Public buses are also popular because they are cheaper and connect different parts of the city. Some people use bicycles or electric scooters for short trips, and many people prefer walking when the places are nearby.

Some types of transport are not used where I live. For example, there is no underground metro system and there are no trams in many areas. There are also no trains for everyday city transport, because the town is not very large. Water transport is also not commonly used for travelling around the city.

Cars and pollution create several problems in my town. A large number of cars can cause traffic jams, especially during busy hours. They also create noise and make the streets less comfortable for pedestrians. Exhaust gases from vehicles pollute the air and can affect people's health. Another problem is that cars need a lot of parking space, which reduces areas for parks and public places. To improve the situation, cities can develop better public transport and encourage people to walk or use bicycles more often.
