Topic 2. Online and offline shopping

Online and offline shopping are both popular, but they are quite different. Online shopping is comfortable because people can buy things from home at any time. It is easy to compare prices, read reviews and find discounts. Another advantage is that the choice of products is usually bigger than in a local shop.

However, online shopping also has disadvantages. You cannot touch or try the product before buying it. Delivery may take several days, and sometimes the item looks different from the picture. There is also a risk of buying from an unreliable website.

Offline shopping is more traditional. You can see the product, check its quality and take it home immediately. Shop assistants can also help you choose. But offline shopping takes more time, and prices may be higher. In my opinion, both ways are useful in different situations.
