Real Pets vs. Robot Pets

Tom wanted a pet, but his parents were very busy. One day they bought him a robot dog. It could run, bark and even bring a ball. Tom liked it because it did not need food or long walks.

But his friend Anna had a real dog named Max. Max was not perfect. Sometimes he made a mess and chewed shoes. But when Anna was sad, Max sat near her and put his head on her knees.

Tom understood the difference. A robot pet is useful and easy to care for, but it cannot truly love you. A real pet needs time and care, but it gives real friendship back.
