The first modern Olympiad took place in the year 1896 in Athens, Greece. These Games marked the revival of the ancient tradition, thanks to the efforts of Pierre de Coubertin.

The Olympic Games are held every four years, alternating between Summer and Winter Games every two years. They may be either Summer or Winter Games, featuring sports suited to the season, such as swimming and athletics in summer, or skiing and ice hockey in winter.

The five Olympic rings represent the five continents of the world – Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. They are connected to symbolize the unity of athletes from all around the globe and the coming together of nations in peaceful competition.

I’d like to go to the next Olympic Games because international competitions are one of my favorite things to watch – they’re so exciting and spectacular. The passion of the athletes, the breathtaking performances, and the sense of global unity make the Olympics a truly inspiring event.
