In India, many weddings are colourful and can last for several days. The bride often has beautiful henna patterns on her hands. In Japan, some couples wear traditional clothes during the ceremony. In China, red is a popular wedding colour because it brings happiness and good luck. In Scotland, the groom may wear a kilt, which is a traditional skirt for men. In the USA, the bride often wears a white dress and carries flowers. Weddings show the traditions and values of different people. Although customs are different, weddings everywhere are a celebration of love and family.
