1. What kinds of animals do people usually like? 2. Who did the Zoological Society of London ask for donations from? 3. Why do wildlife organisations use 'cute' animals in their advertisements?

1. People usually like animals that look cute, especially fluffy, young or big-eyed animals.

2. The Zoological Society of London asked ordinary people and possible supporters for donations.

3. Cute animals make people feel sympathy, so they are more willing to donate money to protect them.
