Great White Shark

The great white shark is one of the largest sharks in the world. It can grow up to six metres long and weigh about two tonnes.

Great white sharks live in cool and warm oceans near Australia, South Africa, California and other coasts. They eat fish, seals and other sea animals.

They can be dangerous, but attacks on people are rare. Great white sharks are important for the ocean because they help keep sea life balanced.
