Last weekend was simple but really satisfying. On Saturday I woke up early, made pancakes, and enjoyed a quiet breakfast with coffee while the city was still asleep. After that I cleaned my room, watered my plants, and finally fixed a squeaky drawer that had annoyed me for months. Around noon I visited my grandmother; we talked for a couple of hours and looked through old family photos. In the afternoon I met two friends in the park. The weather was sunny, so we walked, fed the ducks, and took some silly pictures. In the evening we watched a comedy at my place and ordered pizza. I went to bed a bit late but felt relaxed.

Sunday started slowly. I listened to a podcast while I did the laundry, and then I cooked a simple lunch—pasta with tomatoes and basil. Later I went for a short run by the river; the air was cool and the path was quiet. When it began to drizzle, I returned home, made tea, and read the last chapters of a novel I had been putting off. Before dinner I planned the upcoming week, wrote a to-do list, and prepared my bag for Monday. By the time I went to sleep, the weekend had recharged me, and I felt ready for new tasks.
