Exercise 8. Turn from Active into Passive as in the example.
Example: He gave me a present.
I was given a present. (more usual)
A present was given to me. (less usual)

3. Her mother bought Mary some sweets.
4. Bob has sold Ted a second-hand car.
5. Larry is going to send a letter to him.

Exercise 9. Amy and many other volunteers are helping their town get ready for the Carnival. Put the verbs in brackets into the present continuous passive and the past continuous passive.
