Honestly, a mix of a few things:

  1. Reading (mostly non-fiction with the occasional fantasy binge)
I love books that explain how things work: psychology, history, tech, biographies. I like that feeling when you suddenly understand some tiny piece of the world better than before.
Every few months I also fall into a fantasy or sci-fi rabbit hole and read until 2–3 a.m., telling myself “one more chapter” like a liar.

  2. Long walks with podcasts
I walk a lot, usually with headphones on. I listen to podcasts about tech, science, self-improvement, and sometimes true crime. Walking + listening is kind of my reset button: ideas arrange themselves, problems feel smaller, and I come back home with a few new thoughts to chew on.

  3. Learning random skills “just because”
I really like that early stage of learning something new where everything is confusing but exciting.
    Things I’ve dabbled in:

    • basic coding side projects

    • to-do and habit systems (I’ve tried more productivity apps than is healthy)

    • a bit of design, just enough to know how bad I am at it
The fun part is not even becoming great at these things, but noticing how they change the way I see the world.

  4. Writing for myself
Not anything formal — just notes, little reflections, half-baked ideas. I have messy documents full of:

    • thoughts after reading a good book

    • things I wish I’d said in past conversations

    • plans and “what if…” scenarios
Writing helps me untangle my own brain. If I can put it into words, it stops being this vague cloud of feelings.

  5. Deep conversations with a few people
I’m not a huge fan of big parties, but I really like talking one-on-one or in a small group where you can actually hear each other. Topics can range from very practical (work, projects) to very philosophical (meaning of life, values, why we do the things we do). Those conversations stay with me for a long time.

  6. Playing games (casually, not hardcore)
Sometimes I get into games — not in a competitive “must win” way, more like:

    • story-driven games where the plot feels like an interactive movie

    • chill games you can play to unwind
I like when a game gives me interesting choices or an emotional story rather than just reflex challenges.

  7. Organizing things that are a bit of a mess
This sounds weird, but I enjoy:

    • reorganizing folders and files

    • cleaning up notes

    • structuring information into lists, categories, outlines
It scratches the same itch as solving a puzzle. Messy → ordered feels satisfying.

  8. Just sitting and thinking
I actually enjoy being alone with my thoughts — going over my day, replaying conversations, planning what I want to do next week, imagining different futures. It’s like daydreaming, but with a bit of strategy mixed in.

So in short: I like learning, walking, reading, thinking, and having good conversations — basically anything that feeds curiosity or brings a bit of order into chaos.
