В настоящем простом времени отрицание образуется с помощью вспомогательного глагола do/does + not и начальной формы смыслового глагола. С наречиями частоты (usually и т.п.) do/does (не) ставится перед ними: doesn’t usually + V.

1. She understands the rule. → She does not understand the rule. / She doesn’t understand the rule.

2. He usually has breakfast at 8 o’clock. → He does not usually have breakfast at 8 o’clock. / He doesn’t usually have breakfast at 8 o’clock.

3. The lecture starts at 10.15. → The lecture does not start at 10.15. / The lecture doesn’t start at 10.15.

4. The flowers look fresh. → The flowers do not look fresh. / The flowers don’t look fresh.

5. She usually walks in the evening. → She does not usually walk in the evening. / She doesn’t usually walk in the evening.

6. She remembers them well. → She does not remember them well. / She doesn’t remember them well.

7. Ann misses you badly. → Ann does not miss you badly. / Ann doesn’t miss you badly.

8. They feel very cold. → They do not feel very cold. / They don’t feel very cold.
