Most people like holidays because they can relax, meet relatives and friends, and have fun. In Russia the most popular holidays are New Year, Victory Day, Women's Day and Defender of the Fatherland Day.

My family celebrates New Year, birthdays and Easter. I like getting presents, but giving presents is also nice because it makes people happy. My favourite holiday is New Year because the atmosphere is warm and cheerful. We decorate the tree, cook tasty food and watch films together.

I do not really like holidays with too much noise, because I get tired quickly.
