Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing to complain in the strongest terms (A9)... the roadworks which have been (A10)... progress outside my house for the last four weeks. (A11) ... noise is intolerable. Moreover, there has been no attempt to tidy the area around the works and there are bricks and pieces of wood all over the street. This has resulted (A12) ... unnecessary delays in traffic, not to mention (A13) ... inconvenience this causes to pedestrians. As a local taxpayer I am disgusted to see my money being spent (A14)... this way.
