a) Do you like programmes made in Ukraine?
b) How well do you know BBC World, CNN, MTV, Viva or Star TV? What do you think of them? What language do they broadcast in?
c) What other global channels do you watch? Do you listen to any foreign radio stations? Which ones? What language do global broadcasters use today?
d) How can satellite TV help language learners?

a) Yes, I like some programmes made in Ukraine, especially comedy shows and historical documentaries. They give an interesting glimpse into Ukrainian culture and humour.

b) I know BBC World, CNN, and MTV quite well. BBC World and CNN broadcast in English and provide reliable news from around the globe. MTV mostly shows music and entertainment, also in English. I think they are informative and entertaining, though sometimes the news channels can be a bit serious.

c) I also watch Euronews and sometimes National Geographic. I listen to BBC Radio 1 and occasionally a French music station online. Most global broadcasters use English today because it is widely understood, but you can also find channels in Spanish, Arabic, and other major languages.

d) Satellite TV helps language learners by exposing them to real, everyday speech, different accents, and live conversations. It improves listening skills and helps pick up new vocabulary naturally, especially when watching films, news, or talk shows in the original language.
