Задание на различение Present Perfect и Present Perfect Continuous

Put the verbs in brackets into the Present Perfect or the Present Perfect Continuous.

A: I’m very tired.
B: That’s because you 1) have been working (work) too hard.
A: I know. But at least I 2) __________ (finish) my composition.
A: You look hot. What 3) __________ (you/do)?
B: I 4) __________ (play) tennis with Sarah.
A: Oh yes. I 5) __________ (see) her play before. She’s good, isn’t she?
B: Yes, she is. She 6) __________ (beat) me five times since the start of the summer.

1b. Fill in the blanks with for or since.
Tom and Mary have been building a house 1) for two years. Коротко по правилу: Present Perfect Continuous часто показывает длительное действие и его результат сейчас: I have been playing tennis. Present Perfect обычно показывает завершённый результат или опыт: I have finished, I have seen.

For употребляется с периодом времени: for two years, for a week. Since употребляется с начальной точкой: since October, since 8 o’clock.
