Ниже — развёрнутый пример ответов на английском; для пункта о кинотеатрах я использую Софию как место проживания.

  1. Yes, I think cinema is still a very popular art form nowadays. Although people can watch films at home on streaming platforms, going to the cinema is a special experience. A large screen, powerful sound, comfortable seats, and the atmosphere of watching a film with other people make it more exciting. People do not necessarily go every week, but many go to the cinema for premieres, popular blockbusters, comedies, animated films, or films with friends. My family and friends also enjoy going, especially at weekends or during holidays. We usually choose a film that everyone can enjoy and combine it with a walk, dinner, or shopping.

  2. I prefer to sit in the middle of the cinema, slightly closer to the back than to the screen. From there, I can see the whole screen comfortably without having to move my head too much. The sound is also usually balanced in that area. I do not like sitting in the first few rows because the screen is too close, and it can be uncomfortable for my eyes and neck. I also avoid seats right next to the aisle because people may walk past during the film.

  3. Television and video definitely influence the popularity of cinema. On the one hand, they make films much easier and cheaper to watch. People can stay at home, choose a film at any time, pause it, and watch it with their family. This may reduce the number of people who go to the cinema for ordinary films. On the other hand, television, trailers, reviews, and online videos can advertise new films and make people interested in seeing them on the big screen. In my opinion, home viewing and cinema do not completely replace each other: they offer different experiences.

  4. I think cinema is more popular than theatre with the general public. Cinema is usually less expensive, more widely available, and easier to understand, especially when a film has subtitles or dubbing. There are also many genres to choose from, such as action, comedy, fantasy, animation, horror, and romance. Theatre can be very interesting and artistic, but it often requires more concentration and may appeal to a smaller audience. However, theatre has one important advantage: the performance is live, so every show is unique and creates a closer connection between actors and the audience.

  5. In Sofia, some of the most popular cinemas are Cinema City in Paradise Center, Cinema City in Mall of Sofia, and Cineland in Bulgaria Mall. Cinema City at Paradise Center is in the southern part of the city, near Vitosha Metro Station. Cinema City in Mall of Sofia is closer to the centre, on Aleksandar Stamboliyski Boulevard. Cineland is located in Bulgaria Mall on Bulgaria Boulevard. These cinemas are popular because they are in large shopping centres, have several screens, show new international films, and are easy to reach by public transport or car.

  6. I know several famous war and historical films. For example, there are Saving Private Ryan, Schindler’s List, Dunkirk, 1917, The Pianist, Gladiator, Braveheart, and Troy. Such films can be serious and emotional because they show how people lived during difficult periods of history. I like well-made historical and war films when they focus not only on battles, but also on human choices, courage, fear, friendship, and the consequences of war. They can help viewers understand history better, although it is important to remember that films sometimes change facts for dramatic effect.

  7. Russia and the United States have produced many famous cartoons. Russian cartoons include Well, Just You Wait!, Cheburashka, The Hedgehog in the Fog, Masha and the Bear, and the stories about Winnie-the-Pooh. Cheburashka is a kind, unusual creature with big ears who becomes friends with Gena the Crocodile. Masha is an energetic and curious little girl, while the Bear is patient and caring, even though she often creates problems for him.

Famous American cartoons include Mickey Mouse, Tom and Jerry, The Simpsons, Scooby-Doo, The Lion King, Toy Story, and Shrek. Mickey Mouse is cheerful, friendly, and optimistic. Tom and Jerry are a cat and a mouse who are always chasing each other, but their relationship is often funny rather than cruel. Shrek is an ogre who looks frightening but is actually kind-hearted and learns to value friendship and love.

  8. I do not think small children should be allowed to watch horror films. Young children may find frightening images, loud sounds, monsters, violence, or suspense very upsetting. They may have nightmares, become afraid of being alone, or feel anxious even after the film ends. Small children also cannot always understand that what they see is fictional and created with special effects. Parents should choose films that are suitable for the child’s age and emotional development. Older teenagers may be able to watch mild horror films, but adults should still pay attention to age ratings and the child’s personality.

  9. Many people are interested in documentaries because they help us learn about real life. Documentaries can tell us about nature, science, history, different cultures, famous people, social problems, and important events. They are often interesting because they show real places and real people instead of imaginary characters. A good documentary can be both educational and emotional. It may make viewers think about the world, change their opinion about a topic, or encourage them to take action. For example, documentaries about the environment can make people more aware of climate change and animal protection.

  10. My favourite kinds of film are adventure films, comedies, science-fiction films, and animated films. I like adventure films because they are exciting and usually have interesting journeys, challenges, and beautiful locations. Comedies help me relax and improve my mood. Science-fiction films are appealing because they make me imagine the future, other planets, new technologies, and unusual possibilities. I also enjoy animated films because they can be funny, creative, and meaningful for both children and adults. Sometimes I watch dramas or historical films as well, especially when they have a strong story and memorable characters.
