In the Gym

One rainy afternoon, Mark was working out at the gym when he noticed a girl called Jenny. He asked her whether she came there often. Jenny replied that she went there every day.

Mark said that he came to the gym every day too, but he did not think that he had seen her there before. Jenny explained that it was probably because it was her first week at the gym. Then she remembered that she had actually seen him two days earlier. She said that he had been running on the treadmill and that he had looked very beautiful.

Mark thanked her, but admitted that he hated running on the treadmill. Jenny suggested that they should go running in the park instead. Mark was surprised and reminded her that it was raining outside.

Jenny then had another idea. She suggested that they could go shopping and walk around the shopping centre because it never rained there. Mark smiled and told her that she was very clever.

They left the gym together and went to the shopping centre. At first, they only planned to walk around and talk, but they soon discovered that they had a lot in common. They both enjoyed sport, films and Italian food.

After spending a few hours together, Mark asked Jenny whether she would like to meet him again the following weekend. Jenny happily agreed. From that day on, they continued going to the gym together, but they also found many more interesting places to visit outside it.
