My Country

My country is Russia. It is the largest country in the world. The capital of Russia is Moscow. Russia has many beautiful cities, rivers, lakes, and forests. The climate is different in different parts of the country. Winters are usually cold and snowy. Russia has a rich history and culture. Many famous writers, artists, and scientists were born here. Russian people celebrate many holidays, such as New Year and Victory Day. I love my country because it is beautiful and interesting.

My Flat

I live in a comfortable flat. It is not very large, but it is cosy. There are several rooms in my flat. We have a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom. My favourite room is my bedroom. There is a bed, a desk, a wardrobe, and a computer in it. I usually study and relax in my room. Our kitchen is bright and comfortable. My family often has breakfast and dinner there. I like my flat because I feel happy and relaxed at home.

My Diet

I try to have a healthy diet. I usually eat three or four times a day. For breakfast, I often have porridge, eggs, or sandwiches. I also drink tea or coffee. For lunch, I usually eat soup, meat, vegetables, or pasta. I like fruit and try to eat it every day. My favourite fruits are apples and bananas. I do not eat much fast food because it is not very healthy. I also try to drink enough water. I think a balanced diet is important for good health.

My Past Holiday

Last summer I had a wonderful holiday. I went on holiday with my family. We spent several days by the sea. The weather was warm and sunny. We swam in the sea and relaxed on the beach. We also walked around the town and visited interesting places. In the evenings, we went to cafés and tried local food. I took many beautiful photos during the trip. I enjoyed spending time with my family. It was a great holiday, and I have many happy memories of it.

Places of Interest in Moscow

Moscow is the capital of Russia and a very beautiful city. There are many interesting places to visit there. The most famous place is Red Square. The Kremlin is situated next to Red Square. St Basil’s Cathedral is also one of the symbols of Moscow. Many tourists visit the Bolshoi Theatre. Gorky Park is a popular place for walking and relaxing. People can also visit the Tretyakov Gallery and see famous Russian paintings. Moscow has many museums, theatres, parks, and historical buildings. I think Moscow is an exciting city with many places of interest.
