Чтобы сделать предложения вопросительными (interrogative) и отрицательными (negative), нужно:

  • для предложений с There is / There are поставить is/are перед there в вопросе, а в отрицании добавить not;

  • для предложений с have/has в вопросе использовать Do/Does, а в отрицании — do not (don’t) / does not (doesn’t).

  1. There is a lot of snow in the street.
    Interrogative: Is there a lot of snow in the street?
    Negative: There is not (isn’t) a lot of snow in the street.

  2. There are some pictures on the walls of the room.
    Interrogative: Are there any pictures on the walls of the room?
    Negative: There are not (aren’t) any pictures on the walls of the room.

  3. There is a hospital near our house.
    Interrogative: Is there a hospital near our house?
    Negative: There is not (isn’t) a hospital near our house.

  4. I have many English magazines.
    Interrogative: Do I have many English magazines?
    Negative: I do not (don’t) have many English magazines.

  5. Our friend has music lessons twice a week.
    Interrogative: Does our friend have music lessons twice a week?
    Negative: Our friend does not (doesn’t) have music lessons twice a week.
