Stonehenge is an ancient monument in south-west England. For me, it’s the (INTERESTING) place I’ve ever visited. I clearly remember my (ONE) visit to Stonehenge with my aunt and uncle. They lived nearby and I often (GO) to stay with them in my summer holidays. On the day of (WE) trip the weather was fine. There (BE) a cool wind blowing, the sun was
bright in the sky and Stonehenge looked calm and magical. In those days it was possible to walk among the stones and even touch them. It's very different now. Stonehenge (BECOME) more crowded than it was. As a result, now people (ALLOW) to walk around the monument but they can’t come up very close to it. Today I wish I (HAVE) an opportunity to get inside the circle again but unfortunately it is not possible any more. The Stonehenge mystery is still unexplained but I believe scientists (SOLVE) it in the near future.

Stonehenge is an ancient monument in south-west England, and for me, it’s the most interesting place I’ve ever visited. I clearly remember my first visit to Stonehenge, which was with my aunt and uncle. They lived nearby, so I often went to stay with them during my summer holidays.

On the day of our trip, the weather was absolutely beautiful. There was a cool wind blowing, the sun was shining brightly in the sky, and Stonehenge appeared calm and almost magical. What made it even more special back then was the fact that it was possible to walk among the stones and even touch them. It felt like stepping into history.

Things, however, are very different now. Over time, Stonehenge has become far more crowded with tourists. Because of this, people are no longer allowed to walk close to the stones. Instead, visitors can only walk around the monument at a distance. This change was made to protect the stones from damage due to the large number of visitors.

Even now, I wish I had the opportunity to get inside the circle again, but sadly, it’s no longer permitted. Despite these changes, the mystery of Stonehenge remains as captivating as ever. While no one has fully explained its purpose or origins yet, I strongly believe that scientists will solve this fascinating puzzle in the near future. Stonehenge continues to inspire awe and curiosity for all who visit, just as it did for me all those years ago.
