I have discovered many interesting foods through travelling, but one of the foods I started eating regularly is sushi. I first tried it while travelling and I liked the combination of rice, fish, vegetables, and different sauces. Before that, I thought Japanese food would be too unusual for me, but after trying it, I began ordering sushi more often. I also discovered different types of local dishes during trips, and some of them became part of my everyday meals.

I think it is partly true that young people prefer spicier food. Many young people like trying new tastes and are more open to experimenting with unusual dishes. Spicy food is also popular because of the influence of different cultures and international restaurants. In my family, it is not completely true because older members usually prefer traditional food with mild flavours, while younger people are more willing to add hot spices and try something new.

There are some tastes that I dislike. For example, I do not really like very bitter foods or dishes with a strong smell. I think my dislike was influenced by my childhood because I was not used to eating these types of food when I was young. People often develop food preferences based on what they eat at home and what flavours they experience during childhood. However, I think tastes can change over time because sometimes foods that you dislike at first can become enjoyable after trying them several times.
