Read the text and comment on the situation described in the text. Speak about advantages and disadvantages of internet. Not long ago computers were considered an amazing invention. Today they form part of our everyday life. The latest thing today is Virtual Reality. A Virtual Reality system can transport the user to exotic locations such as a beach in Hawaii or the inside of the human body. The Virtual Reality system is still in the early stages of its development. At the moment it is necessary to put a large helmet on your head to see the simulated world and you have to wear a special glove on your hand in order to manipulate the objects you see there. Lenses and two miniature display screens inside the helmet create the illusion that the screen surrounds you on every side. You can «look» through the brain, heart or lungs without damaging the body. The text describes Virtual Reality, which is one of the most interesting modern technologies. Not long ago computers seemed to be a miracle, but today they have become an important part of our everyday life. Virtual Reality allows people to enter a simulated world and experience things that are impossible or dangerous in real life. For example, doctors can study the human body, police officers can train in safe conditions, and students can visit historical places or explore scientific objects.

The word that comes closest to describing Virtual Reality is probably “amazing” because this technology creates new opportunities for learning, work and entertainment. It can make education more exciting and help people understand complicated things better.

The Internet is also a very important invention of modern life. It has many advantages. First of all, it gives people quick access to information. We can study, communicate with others, work, shop and use different online services. The Internet helps people from different countries stay connected and share knowledge. It is especially useful for education because students can find materials on almost any subject.

However, the Internet also has disadvantages. People can spend too much time online and become dependent on it. There is also a risk of finding false information, harmful content or experiencing problems with privacy and security. Sometimes people communicate less in real life because they prefer online contacts.

In my opinion, both Virtual Reality and the Internet are powerful technologies that can improve our lives if we use them wisely. They offer many possibilities, but people should remember about the possible risks and use modern technologies responsibly.
