Popular Sports in Different Countries

Dear friend,

I want to tell you about popular sports in Great Britain.

Sport is very important in British people's lives. The most popular sport is football. Many people love playing football and watching matches on TV. There are many famous football clubs, such as Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Cricket and rugby are also very popular in Great Britain. People often play cricket in summer. Tennis is another favourite sport. The famous Wimbledon tennis tournament takes place in London every year.

British people also enjoy swimming, cycling, running and walking in parks. These activities help them stay healthy and fit.

I think sport is a great way to have fun, make friends and stay active.

Best wishes,

Your friend
