A dense white fog hung over the moor and was moving towards Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson. They were waiting for Sir Henry Baskerville to come out of the house. As the fog was getting closer, they decided to move to higher ground. Suddenly, they heard quick steps. Sir Henry didn't see the terrible danger behind him. An enormous coal-black creature appeared out of the fog. Fire burst from its open mouth, and its eyes were burning brightly. The terrible hound was leaping down the track towards Sir Henry. His face was white, and he looked back in horror when he saw the horrible creature chasing him. Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson quickly fired at the hound and saved Sir Henry's life.
