A: Hi! Let’s talk about space and travel.

B: Good idea. Space is very interesting. Do you know the planets in the Solar System?

A: Yes, there are eight planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

B: Which planet do we live on?

A: We live on the Earth. It is the third planet from the Sun. It has water, air and life.

B: What else do you know about the Earth?

A: The Earth goes around the Sun once a year. It also turns around its axis, and that is why we have day and night.

B: Who was the first man from our country in space?

A: Yuri Gagarin was the first man in space. He flew into space on April 12, 1961, in the spaceship Vostok 1.

B: That was a very important event for the whole world.

A: Yes, and now people still study space. Maybe one day tourists will travel to other planets.

B: I think space travel will be dangerous, but very exciting.

A: I agree. Space helps us learn more about the Universe and our own planet.
