Possible answers:

Defining relative clauses give necessary information and do not use commas: 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8.

Non-defining relative clauses add extra information and use commas: 5, 6, 9.

The original text is mixed up in places, so some sentences may differ from your textbook, but the rule is the same.
