Yes, I agree. Animals are living creatures, so people should not treat them like toys. They can feel pain, fear and stress, and they need care and respect.

I prefer the sentence “Animals are not toys”, because it is short and easy to remember. A sample answer: I have a pet cat. I have also seen wild animals in a nature reserve, for example deer and birds.

In Russia, some animals are in danger, such as the Amur tiger, the Far Eastern leopard, the snow leopard and some kinds of cranes. Their main problems are habitat loss, poaching, pollution and a lack of food in some areas.
