1) What do you do to keep fit?
To keep fit, I try to stay active in different ways, not just by doing one thing all the time. I usually go for brisk walks or light jogging a few times a week because it helps my stamina and clears my mind. At home I do short workouts with bodyweight exercises like squats, push-ups, lunges, and planks. They don’t need any special equipment, but they strengthen my muscles and improve posture. I also try to stretch after workouts to stay flexible and avoid injuries. On top of that, I pay attention to everyday habits: I choose stairs instead of the elevator, take breaks from sitting, and try to sleep enough because recovery is important too. For me, the best way to stay fit is to be consistent and enjoy what I’m doing.

2) What sports facilities do you have in your school?
In my school we have several sports facilities that make it possible to do different activities. There is a gym where we have PE lessons and where we can play basketball, volleyball, and sometimes badminton. We also have an outdoor sports ground with a football field and space for running. Next to it there are areas for warm-ups and basic fitness exercises. In some seasons we use the school yard for activities like relays and team games. There is also sports equipment available, for example balls, jump ropes, cones, and mats for stretching. These facilities are quite practical because students can try both team sports and individual training during lessons and after school.

3) What kind of sport do you find ideal for young people? Why?
I think the ideal sport for young people is something that is enjoyable, safe, and easy to join, like swimming, athletics (running), or team games such as basketball and volleyball. If I had to choose one, I would say swimming is especially ideal. It trains the whole body, improves endurance, and strengthens muscles without putting too much stress on the joints, which makes it safer for growing bodies. It also helps posture and breathing, and it’s a useful life skill. Another reason is that swimming suits different personalities: some teenagers like to compete, while others prefer to swim at their own pace. Overall, a sport is ideal for young people when it keeps them healthy, builds discipline, and helps them socialize or gain confidence, and swimming does all of that very well.
