В косвенной речи специальные вопросы сохраняют вопросительное слово (why, what, where, when, who, how much и т. д.), но порядок слов становится прямым: вопросительное слово + подлежащее + сказуемое. Времена обычно сдвигаются на шаг назад: Present Simple → Past Simple.
