How I help my mother to prepare a festive table

I usually begin with cleaning the table and helping my mother prepare everything we need. First, we put a clean tablecloth on the table and arrange the chairs.

Then I put the plates, glasses and spoons on the table. I place the plates in front of each chair, the glasses near the plates and the forks and knives next to them. I also help to decorate the table with napkins, flowers and candles.

For the festive dinner, my mother and I prepare different dishes. We usually cook salads, meat, potatoes and a delicious dessert. I help my mother to make sandwiches and decorate the dishes.

I like helping my mother because we spend time together and make the holiday special.
