Hello everyone! Today I would like to tell you about schools in Russia.

School education in Russia usually starts at the age of 7. Children go to primary school from the 1st to the 4th form. Then they continue their education in secondary school from the 5th to the 9th form. After the 9th form, students can either leave school and enter a college or continue studying until the 11th form.

Russian schools have many different subjects. Students usually study Russian language, Mathematics, Literature, History, Geography, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Foreign Languages. English is the most popular foreign language.

The school year in Russia starts on the 1st of September. This day is called the Day of Knowledge. Students usually study from Monday to Friday, but some schools also have lessons on Saturday. The school year is divided into four terms with holidays between them.

Most Russian schools have classrooms, a library, a gym and a computer room. Students usually wear casual clothes, but some schools have a school uniform. Teachers play an important role in students’ lives and help them get knowledge and prepare for the future.

I think Russian schools are interesting because students learn many different subjects and have a lot of opportunities to develop their skills. Education is very important in Russia, and most children try to do their best at school.
