Foreigner: It is in Southern Europe. It looks like a boot on the map and is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea.

Journalist: What is the capital of your country?
Foreigner: The capital is Rome. It is a very old city with many historical places.

Journalist: What language do people speak there?
Foreigner: People speak Italian. In tourist places many people also speak English.

Journalist: What is the weather like in Italy?
Foreigner: Summers are usually hot and sunny. Winters are mild in the south and colder in the north.

Journalist: What food is your country famous for?
Foreigner: Italy is famous for pizza, pasta, cheese, olive oil and ice cream.

Journalist: What traditions do Italians have?
Foreigner: Family is very important. People often meet for long meals, celebrate local festivals and enjoy music.

Journalist: What places should tourists visit?
Foreigner: They should visit Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan and the coast. There are many museums, churches and beautiful streets.

Journalist: What do you like most about your country?
Foreigner: I like its history, warm people, beautiful nature and delicious food.
