Dear Ben,

Thanks for your letter. I enjoy reading adventure stories and detective novels because they are exciting and make me think. My favourite books are about brave people who travel and solve difficult problems. I usually read in the evening before going to bed.

I think both e-books and printed books are useful. An e-book is convenient because you can carry many books on one small device. However, I prefer printed books. I like turning the pages and seeing the book on my shelf. Reading a paper book is also easier on my eyes.
