A film review is a short text where you describe a film or TV show and give your opinion about it.

A good film review usually has this structure:

  • Introduction: write the title, the type of film and the director.
  • Main body: describe the main points of the plot, but do not tell every detail or spoil the ending.
  • Comments: write about the characters, acting, music, special effects and what you liked or disliked.
  • Conclusion: say whether you recommend the film and explain why.

Use present tenses and interesting adjectives, for example: exciting, funny, moving, boring, impressive, realistic.
