Dear Kate,

Yesterday I went to the cinema with my friend Mike. We watched an adventure film, and we both liked it very much.

I was most impressed by the exciting special effects and the brave main character. The ending was surprising and made us think about the film.

After we had seen the film, we went to a café and talked about our favourite scenes. It was a great evening.

Best wishes,
Alex
