Volleyball is a team sport played by two teams of six players on a court divided by a net. The main goal is to send the ball over the net so that it lands on the opponent’s side of the court. Each team may touch the ball up to three times before returning it, but the same player cannot hit the ball twice in a row. A rally begins with a serve, and the team that wins the rally scores a point. Players usually rotate positions after their team wins the serve from the other side. A set is normally won by the first team to reach 25 points with at least a two-point lead.
