If You Poison the Environment, the Environment Will Poison You

People often forget that we are a part of nature, not its owners. The air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat all come from the environment. If we pollute rivers, cut down forests and fill the air with smoke, we harm ourselves.

For example, dirty water can cause serious diseases. Air pollution leads to breathing problems, especially for children and elderly people. Plastic and chemicals poison animals and plants, and then harmful substances can enter our food.

Everyone can help to protect the planet: recycle waste, save water and electricity, use less plastic and never leave rubbish in nature. Even small actions matter. A clean environment means a healthier and safer life for all people.

That is why we should remember: if we poison the environment, the environment will poison us.
